Music Anyone?

Well, a 7,000 acre ranch in the morning, work the gallery in the early afternoon and then a photo shoot for a couple of musicians in the late afternoon.   All in a days work.  Ron and Debbie have written a song for Elgin and it’s largest festival of the year – Hogeye.  It brings 20,000 people to the town on the fourth Saturday in October and is plain old family fun. The couple has just finished building a log cabin on 10 acres in McDade Texas.  We spent the first bit of time shooting up against the texture of the log walls. But, when they told me they had a stock pond on the back of the property, we headed out to see if there was an interesting area around it.  I’m not sure which image they’ll choose, but I liked this one as we walked back.  They’re smiling, making a little music, and having a good time.
