I had the fantastic opportunity to head out to a 7,000 acre + ranch just west of Austin last Sunday. My trusty guide ‘Larry’ knew all the spots, since he had leased 1,000 acres with his friends to go deer hunting. The plan was to meet out there at his camp about 30 minutes before sunrise. Wouldn’t you know it, but the night before a cold front blew through (and I mean blew through with 45 MPH winds) the area and by 6:00 a.m. the temperature was a pleasant 24 degrees. For you folks who are up North – that’s darn COLD for us in the South! Anyway, it was a crystal clear great morning. Hidden Falls is the one image from the shoot that really jumped out at me, so I’ve added it to my collection and relased it as a limited edition of 75 - 24×36 on canvas. It’s in the gallery and looks fantastic.
