Well, at least 24 hours during this year. I had started posting my images for sale on a website called Image Kind (www.imagekind.com). I had not finished putting them up, and had a couple that, once they got there, just didn’t look right and I was going to replace them. Neat thing about this site is that it handles all the fulfillment for me, including matting, framing, shipping, etc. You can even get cards with my images on them!
So, I had not really been working on it much this month – I was focused on the painted portraits. Then, yesterday afternoon, I got an email from someone saying “congratulations on being the featured artist on Image Kind!” Well, I went to the site, and darned if my face wasn’t on their home page. Before I knew it, I had hundreds of people looking at my work, ready or not! Lots of good comments, lots of lookers, but no sales. However, I’ll take the exposure! At least I captured the home page image to prove that it happened…
